Buy Ned Kelly DVD
posted by Jas
Casie reports: I found this Australian website that you can buy the Ned Kelly DVD. They even have a currency converter for international customers. I haven't bought one so I don't know if Americans can. I don't have any money now so I won't be able to buy one for a while, the shipping and handling must cost an arm and a leg. Anyway here ya go. Oh AND at mymovies.net they have clips from the Ned Kelly movie there, not much of Orlando though. Update: Just to remind people that the DVD is for region 2 and 4 and in PAL.

BBC Films report on Kingdom of Heaven?
BBC Films
BBC Films report: The lovely Orlando Bloom (swoon) is being wooed by Ridley Scott to star in Crusades epic "Kingdom of Heaven" - which has just received the greenlight. If up for it, he'll play a 12th-century blacksmith who becomes a knight, falls in love with a princess and, according to Variety, "helps defend Jerusalem against the Crusaders". Eh? Reel Life smells some historically suspect writing, cos unless Bloom's blacking up for the role (which wouldn't surprise us in the slightest), he'll be an Anglo-Saxon swordswinger fighting for a Muslim power. If we remember our copy of "12th Century History for Idiots" correctly, such characters would actually have fought for the 'Christian' crusades. Still, hard to imagine Hollywood actually casting an Arab character as hero (heaven forfend).
IGN Film Force reports that Aussie thesp Joel Edgerton was in the running to star but since Orlando has now been part of two huge franchises who wouldn't want to cast him?
