Bloom Reshot King Scenes
SciFi Wire
Orlando Bloom told SCI FI Wire that he recently returned to New Zealand to film additional scenes for Return of the King. "I did the reshoots a few weeks ago," Bloom said in an interview while promoting his upcoming film Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl. "[Director Peter Jackson] loved the audience's reaction in the first movie [to] Leggy running over the back of the cave troll and killing the cave troll, and then in the second movie, sliding down the stairs and jumping [off] the horse. And in the third movie, he's kind of combined a whole load of stuff. So it's like another one of those sort of Leggy moments."
The actor added that there are scenes in the previous two films he would have liked to have been able to shoot over again, if given the chance. "I've changed so much," he said. "And I thought, oh God, I would have done that different now. What was I thinking? I obviously wasn't. I was so nervous. I'm so tense. There's things like that. But s--t, it was an opportunity and I love that character. I tried really hard to get it right, and Pete was amazing and directed me really well, and I feel lucky."
Now that all of his scenes have been filmed, Bloom says that he is ready to put the project behind him and move on to other roles. "I had to go back, and I have done, and it's done," he said. "I'm holding out for f--king three guys sitting around a table playing cards. Not that I'm not grateful for the opportunities and experiences I've had, but I just think it would be good for me to do something like that just to show that I'm not just an action-reaction, one-line man. You know what I mean? There's more to me than that, and hopefully I can get an opportunity to show that."

Orlando's in LA
posted by Anon in LA
From a contact in LA: "It seems that everyone is in LA now...Orlando included. They made arrangements for Orlando to come to NY for a day (Tuesday) and he made it for the press conference. I can't keep up with all the extra stuff that Disney has added in the last couple of days...They were so worried about Geoffrey Rush not being here so they pulled strings and got Orlando. Disney is holding nothing back. The media on this is HUGE."

'Hulk' star Bana to fight Brad Pitt in 'Troy'
Chicago Sun-Times
'I haven't disfigured Brad Pitt just yet," promises Eric Bana, the Aussie who stars in this weekend's box office monster "Hulk." He goes up against hunky Pitt in the upcoming epic "Troy." The two are filming the historical flick in Malta right now, where Bana plays Hector to Pitt's Achilles. "It's quite literally the role of a lifetime," Bana says. "He's the ultimate warrior." Both Bana and Pitt have added muscle for the roles. "We've been working out like crazy," he says. "I have to be strong because Achilles kicks my ass." As for a Hulk sequel, Bana adds, "I guess we will do one. It might sound silly, but I really haven't thought about it. It's hard to think Hulk when you're in the middle of 'The Iliad.' "

New Pirates ad?
posted by Brandi and Courtney
Brandi wrote: Was just watching "Meet My Folks", and seen 2 new POTC ads- the 1st one was longer (about 20-45 seconds long) and featured some of the same stuff we've seen before, but introduces both Jack and Will. The 2nd one was short (about 15 seconds or so), and had a new scene of Will poking his head up out of the water, as well as Barbossa looking out a spy glass (not sure what you call the binoccular-type thing *LOL*), and through the glass he sees Jack tip his hat. There may be more commercials, so i'll keep my eyes open :-).
Courtney wrote: My brother watches Cartoon Network all day every day and they show POTC all the time well I just flipped to it and the were showing it. It had a few more new scenes the on with Orlando in it that I got a real look of is when Orlando picks his head up out of the water so watch Cartoon Network to see it and get it recorded.
