EA Games turns Hollywood licenses into 'must have' games

The Lord of the Rings(TM), The Two Towers(TM) -- Based on New Line Cinema's epic motion picture trilogy, EA's first The Lord of the Rings(TM) action adventure game will allow players to take control of the main action heroes from the films, with other members of the Fellowship taking on an active AI role during gameplay. The PlayStation 2 version features dramatic camera views of the action within fully 3D interactive environments taken straight from the big screen. A visceral, tactical combat system will encourage players to be strategic with their selection of characters, weaponry and moves. The first The Lord of the Rings title will be released in conjunction with the second movie in fall 2002.
