Lord Of The Rings star Bloom to begin work on new movie

Orlando Bloom is due to begin work on his new film in London on Monday.

Bloom stars in The Calcium Kid with Omid Djalili and David Kelly.

The film is a mockumentary comedy, in which Bloom plays young milkman Jimmy. He is an amateur boxer who by a bizarre twist of events ends up fighting the world champion in his home town.

It is the debut feature from writer/director Alex De Rakoff, whose previous work includes music videos for Ice T, Space, Bucketheads and N-Trance.

On a sidenote: Members of Buckethead have appeared on some of Viggo's CD and Viggo in return has provided photographs for some of their CD covers.
