Comics & Games Retailer magazine's May 2002 issue Market Beat (based on market reports from retailers) lists The Lord of the Rings TCG as the #1 seller for the second straight month in February, again edging out Magic: The Gathering by an even wider margin than before.

Elijah Wood is a Thumbsucker

Elijah Wood ("The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring") will join Tilda Swinton in "Thumbsucker," Good Machine's production of Walter Kirn's novel of the same name.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Wood will play Minnesota teenager Justin Cobb -- dubbed "the King Kong of oral obsessives" by his dentist -- whose quest to end his fixations throws his already far-from-conventional family into chaos. Swinton will play Audrey, Justin's mother, a part-time nurse who helps the rich and famous to dry out.

Scarlett Johansson ("Ghost World") is also in advanced negotiations to play the role of Rebecca Crane, a 16-year-old crush of Justin's.
