Heath ledger is among a team of actors who arrived in Melbourne last week in preperation for Gregor Jordon's epic film project NED KELLY.

Other cast members include Geoffery Rush and at least one suprise face from Lord of the Rings, Orlando Bloom (Legolas in Peter Jackson's epic film) is said to be starring as a member of the Kelly Gang.

Bloom told The Sun Herald last year of the "very exciting" film role.

"There's actually a great project coming out of Australia and I'm trying my hardest to see if I can get there,"

Much of Jordon's film will be shot in rural Victoria, but is believed the production will spend a brief time in GLENROWAN,the place where the bushranger was arrested.
